any flu/cold remedies??

i no this might be in the wrong topic but im really upset cause i got really sick, and rosee wants to come over n im not letting her (rose if u read this don't even think about it!!!) cause i don't want her to get sick...and i was supposed to be going to the movies and now its all cancled, and now my bf cant come to da movies with me!!! i'm burning hot and i keep sneezing... and i'm just sitting on the computer with a red noze, and everything is leaky, my eyes my nose!!! im sitting with a blanket over me...and my nose is soo stuffy that i don't even sound like myself....i no i should rest but i already did and i can't sleep no more! oh and i tried dayquil but it don't help!!!! AHHHHHHHH...and does anyone have any home remedies???pleaseeee. im using up ALLL, ALLLLLLLL my tissues!!!!

Christie, When I was just a mere child, my mother had given me a remedy when I got sick.. It was boiled milk with a table spoon of bakin soda, 1 squeezed lime, and 2 tbs of honey, It really took away the burning and helped.. Another remedy I have is cook hot potatoes and when steam is coming out put them on your table and start inhaling the steam with a towel over your head, I know it sounds strange but it is a traditional remedy and should clear your sinus.

Christie!! did you go to your local doctor.. You should he can prescribe you some eye drops... very helpfull!

Im not a fan of eyedroops eaither you shoul try putting chamomile tea bags on your eyes, or any other teas, but chamomile is the best make sure your eyes are closed and it should relieve them from leaking and sooth them a bit!
